The Professor, who previously has tweeted “all I want for Christmas is white genocide,” has blamed the Vegas massacre on men and white people.

George Ciccariello, a professor of politics at Drexel University, has claimed in a tweet that the mass shooting in Las Vegas was caused by white people and men.

According to Ciccariello, a “narrative of white victimization” led to the deaths of almost 60 people and the wounds over 500 in the deadliest mass shooting in US history.

“White people and men are told that they are entitled to everything,” he tweeted. “This is what happens when they don’t get what they want.”

Of course, the professor did not give any evidence to back up his ludicrous assertion.

The “narrative of white victimization,” according to Ciccariello, “is the spinal column of Trumpism, and most [sic] extreme form is the white genocide myth.”

His wild claims did not garner a positive reaction from Twitter users.

The professor is no stranger to controversy.

After his tweet calling for the genocide of white people, the professor defended himself by claiming tweets calling for violence “are not tweets that call for any kind of violence.”

In the past, Ciccariello has also called for a school police officer to be “put up against a wall” and done “like Old Yeller.” A tweet he has since deleted, but not before screencaps were taken.

His excuse for the genocide tweet was that he was trying to take part in public debate.

“I’m trying to intervene in pressing public debates, and after the election of Trump, one of the pressing debates was about this sort of bizarre coalition that had brought Trump to power which consisted of many groups but also included far-right, white nationalist, Nazi and fascist groups,” he told The Triangle. “When you look at some of the keywords of these far-right, white supremacist groups, one is this phrase “White Genocide.” It’s a reference to a completely made up idea that white people are not only victims but somehow actively being genocided.”

His excuse for the Old Yeller tweet was even better.

“These are not tweets that call for any kind of violence. If you look at them they don’t, they don’t in any way. They, in one sort of half-satirically and one in a straightforward reference to the Black Panther Party, talk about transforming the society that we live in,” he claimed.

Remember, this is a person who is teaching the next generation.

    A few points to note.

According to psychology today, most shooters are male (no skin colour mentioned). However, as the percentage of shooters is significantly below 1%, it can’t be used for any meaningful profiling (the inability to profile is in the article). It’s also not a hard rule about gender vs shooting. Skin colour didn’t even rate a mention. One has to question the benefit in drawing the parallel if it’s statistically insignificant, unless you are sexist and racist.

Secondly, I’m going to say he’s either predominantly right or predominantly wrong. Let me quote Ars Technica (who just wrote an article about stopping divisiveness – something they do all the time and something I criticise them for constantly).

“Behind this seemingly arcane distinction lies a broader philosophy. Unlike American law, which permits preferences such as affirmative action for racial minorities and women for the sake of diversity or redressing discrimination, Facebook’s algorithm is designed to defend all races and genders equally.”

Ars were scathing of Facebook’s “treat everyone the same”. They specifically highlighted the need to give privilege to all minorities and anyone female (meaning the white male must be targeted). This particular article by Ars motivated the white male privilege as a very popular response from readers. Why?

Either George Ciccariello is right (and so is Ars Technica), or they’re racist and sexist agitators, employing divisive tactics to divide the community.

I don’t actually judge Ars (or Mr Ciccariello) by a single comment. Look at repeated comments. Both have a history of specific gender representation, time and time again.

Either their targeting is totally right or totally wrong. Either way, its divisive.

“White people and men” have been demonized for decades, told that they are responsible for all the evils of the Western world, and are, as a result, not entitled to anything.

  • DaisyToo

What a self hating POS he is.

    • David Watts

I am so tired of white ethnomasochism. You don’t see any other races indulging in this BS, and it’s not because they’re undeserving of guilt.

      • Dave Silva

liberals will do anything they can to get others to destroy themselves so they can be kings.

      • DaisyToo

Great observation! And I do appreciate our term, “ethnomasochism”. The Left enjoys the same perverted relationship to country as they do to being Caucasian.

      • Quiet Desperation

Every now and then you get a black guy saying, “Wow, black culture kind of sucks hard.”

  • BorderGuard

If you were a beta, d-bag like this little, low-IQ professor, you’d probably hate yourself too.

He needs to be fired asap…x#saveouryouth#

    • DMZ

DREXEL had the chance two crazy rants ago including the Christmas Eve call for White Genocide. Dude is wack. As a “professor” and I use that term lightly, if he does not see any and all forms of genocide as bad he is psychotic.

  • DMZ

He’s white, lol. Not really sure he knows that BUT all he has to do is look in the mirror. When he called for white genocide in 2016, he seems to forget HE would be in that group of dead folks. That statement alone shows that he is unfit to teach anyone anything, he is nuts. Honestly, Drexel is a shit hole anyway. Nothing worse than a self-loathing over educated, under achieving white dude talking about shit he knows nothing whatsoever about. Laughable really.

““White people and men are told that they are entitled to everything,” he tweeted”

    We are.
Our ancestors built this society. FOR US. Not so we could give it away to low-IQ savages from the third world. For US, and our descendants.
People of the West, you must realize this. Internalize it. And put it into action. Take what is yours.
The alternative is the genocide and complete destruction of your people- the greatest society on the planet.

If a kid is “taught” by this imbecile for a year, that would equal 5 years of required “deprogramming”..this clown made a total fool of himself on Fox not tool long ago. He’s trying to stay relevant by saying outrageous things as he has not a shred of talent, ability for meaningful introspection, etc. He wanted to be somebody when he grew up.

  • OldGreyGuy

I’m happy that he is using his freedom of speech to prove to the rest of us exactly what sort of a person this professor is.

  • Quiet Desperation

It’s the same damn guy over and over- same beard, stupid glasses, smug expression and punchable face.

    Epiphany: It’s an academic cult.

How freaking sad is it when the elite in Politics, the media, entertainment,& education can’t wait 24 hours before trying to take advantage & score points?
Some Of the Scoundrels were tweeting while people were dying! It is obscene how broken our nation is & how quick it happened!

  • tn_tea _ partyer_420

this guy has the type of face that is begging to be punched

  • This is why we need to defund all post-12th grade colleges of all public funds with a few rare exceptions (medical schools which produce doctors, for example). If people want to pay to listen to this radical
alt-left fallacious nonsense, they can. However, I shouldn’t be forcibly taxed to pay to support it.

And, the reality is that when you remove the artificial incentives, people are going to trend toward trades and careers which will allow them to improve their ability to earn (rather than those supported by government taxation and redistribution). It’s simple economics.

Ciccariello is a self-proclaimed commie, the problems start there.
