New York University librarian April Hathcock claims that she “hit her limit” after spending five days being “tone-policed and condescended to and ‘splained to” by “white men librarians” and “nice white ladies.”

As reported by Campus Reform, Scholarly Communications Librarian at NYU April Hathcock claims in a blog post titled “Post-ALA Race Fatigue.”

“I just spent the last 5 days at the American Library Association annual conference in Chicago, and I am suffering serious race fatigue,” the post reads.

Citing a ThinkProgress article, Hathcock’s piece goes on to explain that race fatigue is “a real physical, mental, and emotional condition that people of color experience after spending a considerable amount of time dealing with the micro- and macro-aggressions that inevitably occur when in the presence of white people. The more white people, the longer the time period, the more intense the race fatigue. ”

The post continues, “its been 5 straight days of being tone-policed and condescended to and ‘splained to. Five days of listening to white men librarians complain about being a ‘minority’ in this 88% white profession – where they consistently hold higher positions with higher pay – because they don’t understand the basics of systemic oppression.

“(They’re librarians. You’d think they’d know how to find and read a sociology reference, but whatever.) Five days of having ‘nice white ladies’ tell you to be ‘civil’ and ‘professional’ when you talk about the importance of acknowledging oppression and our profession’s role in it.”

Hathcock does admit that she had some enjoyable moments.

“I caught up with friends and colleagues of color and met new ones. These moments kept me going,” she said. “And I did have some moments of rest with a few absolutely invaluable and genuine white allies.”

Luckily for her, she won’t have to be surrounded by white people this summer if she doesn’t choose to be as she is going on vacation with her family. “I’ll be getting some much needed R & R in this racial battle called life,” she concludes.

According to Campus Reform, Hathcock did not respond to their multiple requests for comment.

She has been quite active on Twitter, however.

I’m sure all she does is pick up magazines up off the tables and puts them back.

  • DaisyToo

“This racial battle called life” Hmmm. And she’s exhausted after white women had to caution her to ‘be civil’. I can fully appreciate the restraint employed by the white lady librarians w/this moon bat.

  • Chris Leroux

    Better than adjusted-expectations-fatigue.

  • pcxmac

hating people because of their skin color can be stressful. She should consider not being a racist.

    • David Watts

Her overweening racism must take a lot on energy — no wonder she’s suffering from ‘fatigue.’

Can you imagine the outrage if this were a white person writing about how much they hate being around black people?

It’s sad to see where our society has taken us.

      • SterlingMaloryArcher

Careful not to attempt to use logic, the SJWs will call you a “racist bigot” and try and get you fired/drawn and quartered.

        • Guest

          Yeah, like that bothers me.

      • Robin Martz

        That’s right.

      • Reiver

Those sort of white people are despised, mocked, vilified and exposed as the idiots they are. Blacks, on the other hand, are subject to entirely different set of rules and expectations which allows them to be bigoted, self-serving morons and obviously keep their jobs.

      • Steven-X

I hate being around stupid people.

    • Dindoo Muffins

I love your comment, and wish I could upvote it a thousand times.

  • nefarious

That’s the Democrat base right there.

    • HT

It’s a small portion, the white guilt liberals actually outnumber the blacks that she is representative of.

      • David Watts

I wish that wasn’t true, but I think it is.

  • Chris Lamparello

It’s the year 2017. Still blaming white people??

    • nefarious

In another one hundred and fifty years they will still be blaming White people, plus Asians, Indians, Latinos and everyone doing better than them.

      • Chris Lamparello

She’s an educated, attractive black woman who is attending NYU. Yet, she’s still on the victim train. Both amazing and truly unfortunate.

        • nefarious

Attractive? I’m going to have to disagree with you on that point.

          • Chris Lamparello

I attended NYU and live in NYC. What the liberals have done to the African American population here is disgusting.

          • nefarious

African Americans have bought into Neo-Marxism. All the stuff they say is the exact same thing, just replace “proletariat” with “Black” and “bourgeoisie” with “White”.

          • Chris Lamparello

The thing that amazes me the most is that 90% of the African Americans that I know and come in contact with do not believe what this young woman seems to believe. One friend outright told me to “stay away” from these types, and he’s black himself.

          • nefarious

People who constantly obsess over race drive themselves insane. Constantly thinking about race just makes you hateful.

          • Laura Wilson

            PRECISELY.

          • Willy Jones

            90%? I don’t think so.

          • Chris Lamparello

You think large percentages of black people think white people are their problem? I could be wrong, but I think it’s primarily a concept that is promoted by white liberals for their own political gain. But it is true in my limited experiences that the black people I know don’t go around blaming “white people” as this woman does. Maybe I just have good friends.Who knows.

          • AuntieFran

Mine are, too…and are very comfortable in a group no matter the majority.

          • Marie Corelli

True dat. If you’re paranoid or live in victim status you can construe EVERY interaction as racial. I try to see it from they’re perspective but seriously it’s like looking for toys on an ant… These ppl are grasping.
            It’s sad.

          • Marie Corelli

Lol. Meant it’s like looking for TITS on an ant.
            Spellcheck!! ????

          • David Watts

I liked the idea of looking for toys, though… 😉

          • Chris Lamparello

I once had a BBQ where eight people attended. Seven were white, one was black. In the middle of the event, we were all talking, and the black guy said, “A black guy hanging out with white people. Too bad this doesn’t happen in the real world.” I guess we were on Mars or something. I just don’t know.

          • CrusadaB

I was the only white at a black BBQ…let’s just say I left without eating.

          • lilyred

Smart. Take heed of Derbyshire’s Rules.

          • CrusadaB

Don’t know those rules…only my common sense.

          • Lolly811

Back in the late 60’s my husband and I were the only white couple at a large Black wedding. We were treated with respect and because my husband did not dance, the black gentleman at the receiption made sure I got on the dance floor. For over 10 yrs. in the late 70’s and early 80’s my family was the only white family in the neighborhood. We treated each other with respect. Today, it is not white people who are racist but it is the black people. They let themselves be brainwashed by that Muslim traitor Obama. They would all kneel down and kiss is ass yet he did NOTHING to improve the lives of black people. He instead encouraged them to stay on welfare which is the same as being a black on the plantation.

          • Felix Cat

I was the only white girl at a baby shower for one of my friends ( the other 40 or so people were black) from work and it took me over an hour for that thought to even occur to me. When it did, I said to myself “Huh, fancy that.” That’s just not what’s above all important about people in my mind. I had a great time.

          • Tobi Alafin

I share his sentiment (Nigerian male), but antiwhite racism is no less common here.

          • Califan

            I’ve had the same experience.

          • jay kaye

Do you mean what the liberals have done in terms of perpetuating a victim mentality?

          • Hunter1015

We can thank LBJ the master of the Democrat plantation who passed a welfare bill that required that only single people could collect welfare. After he signed the bill in 1965 LBJ was quoted, Will will be having those “Ns” voting Democrat for 200 years. He destroyed the black nuclear family and it was a calculated move. It worked, 52 years and 90% of blacks vote to remain on the plantation and collect the crumbs that the plantation masters sweep from the table.

          • E Varick Wettlaufer

Obviously they like their slave training…it’s the new MIND KONTROL for the new age…be a victim and never responsible for your own behavior…

        • dan52d

Education and intelligence are NOT the same thing.

          • LibertyLoonie

            Its no longer “education”..it’s “indoctrination”

        • Hunter1015

She is still on the Democrat plantation, looking for the hand outs and crumbs from the masters table

      • BooBooBaby

Oh they are already blaming people that are not black. Anyone that isn’t black or black enough gets their wrath too.

But you are right it will just get worse.

      • logicalvoice

And everyone will be doing better because they refuse to do what it takes to improve themselves and their situation.

    • AverageJoe1987

Our great great great great great great great great great great grandchildren are still going to be putting up with this crap.

As long as black people can blame whitey for their problems, they’ll always display their own racism.

    • Yika

I wonder if she has ever considered that white people feel the same about her.

  • Hermann Morr

A real Black nationalst. As a nationalist myself, i respect her.

    • Tobi Alafin

As a black person myself, I am ashamed of her.

    • DEPLORABLE Grandma Susan

But she doesn’t live in a ‘black’ nation. She lives in a nation where all who are here legally are welcomed. We are a Representative Republic, where all people – even white people – have a voice.

      • Hermann Morr

        This is true.

  • Jackie Mutchmore McPherson

And now, simply being is an issue for her. Yeah, no racism in her…….

  • freenclear

If white people bother you so much, you could always kill yourself. Or take your fat black ass to Africa. Because we’re not going anywhere.

  • Typical

Well, to be fair, part of the problem is you see so few other black people IN libraries, let alone working at them, must be torturous for the poor dear.

  • Piotr Rybak

Wait, she’s a librarian? What’s with the atrocious, infantile writing, then? Also, Dunkirk is now D-day, apparently.

    • Rob

Nobody ever ‘splained the difference to her. Probably because they didn’t feel like getting called a racist. Too bad for her. Now everybody with a brain knows she’s an idiot.

      • Piotr Rybak

Aye, she is apparently resentful of any and every attempt to correct or inform her, views it as a personal attack, as opposed to an opportunity. She’ll always be ignorant, miserable and angry, I’m afraid. Not that I care about her personally, I don’t, but this pattern of behaviour in so many people is indicative of a greater societal problem.

    • willie

Love it. Maybe she should check out a book on WWII battles.

      • Steven-X

she only reads books on sociology, and probably on those written by approved SJW writers.

    • AuntieFran

IF — big if – memory serves me correctly, the military was still segregated at both D-Day and Dunkirk. That just might be the reason she saw no blacks in the film. DUH!

  • Tarantula2

“Racial fatigue”? Hell, how do you think WE feel, dealing with YOU?

    • David Watts

      Post O’ The Day.

    • Personally, I’m ‘suffering’ from racist and sexist fatigue.

The RaceCard/GenderCard has expired and is no longer valid.

True, true, during Obama’s administration it was “recharged” but still was not valid.

  • John Hintergardt

It’s always race and color with them.

  • nefarious

African Americans have bought into Neo-Marxism. All the stuff they say is the exact same thing, just replace “proletariat” with “Black” and “bourgeoisie” with “White”.

  • HT

I think for her own well being she should be fired. It’s the decent thing to do to save her fragile mental state.

  • Chris Brown

People of Color at “D-Day” according to the Dunkirk movie? The librarian may want to crack a history book, Dunkirk and D-Day are two completely different historical events. They both start with the same letter, but that connection is tenuous at best. Would she changed her tune if she knew that Dunkirk involved the Brits and French instead of the US? Probably not.

While we’re at it, that “Schindler’s List” movie was pretty white af too!

    • HT

All of the black jews must’ve got out before the SHTF.

      • LynnMc

OK…you really made me LOL at that one.

    • Kanucklehead

Actually, mostly Canadian boys at Dunkirk.

      • Piotr Rybak

Well that solves it, we all know Canadians are French. Need I say more?

      • Fred Hansford

No, only the Cdn 1st Div was in theatre in May 1940 and did not go to France before the evacuation at Dunkirk. You are thinking of the raid on Dieppe in 1942.

        • Kanucklehead

I’m sorry my friend, you are absolutely correct. I WAS thinking Dieppe. duh.

      • Chris Brown

Are you thinking of Dieppe 1942?

    • Steven-X

Actually they were the exact opposite of each other.

  • Isabella750

I’m still trying to get over the last 8 years of “racial fatigue” I have felt having to deal with Obama….but seriously, what the hell? We are even more divided today than in the 60s!!!!

  • BooBooBaby

Where can myself and others go to Demand that this intolerant lying POS be fired!!!??

  • John Familiare

    dunkirk was not d-day

  • True.Epic.Crusader

Sounds like you need to go back to Apefrica!

    • Tobi Alafin

That’s offensive. Well if that’s how you really feel, then go ahead. I’m not going to let my hurt (Nigerian male) serve as an instrument of PC.

            Nope!

        • Tobi Alafin

I’m African, and identify as such. I find “Apefrica” offensive. I’m not going to censor your free speech, just exercising my own right to free speech by expressing my displeasure at your words.

          • True.Epic.Crusader

Alright. But I still say that b* tch in the article needs to go back to Apefrica.

          • Tobi Alafin

Oh well. Like I said, I don’t believe in PC or “hate speech”, so suit yourself.

          • George

That was quite civil Mr. Alafin…your parents did a good job.

          • Tobi Alafin

            Thanks.

          • Tobi Alafin

            Thanks for the compliment. 🙂

  • Chris Lamparello

The President of NYU’s email address is andrew.hamilton@nyu.edu. I’m sure he would find this interesting.

      And then, again…..

It must be tough going through life being an uneducated, self entitled, bigoted, racist… See You Next Tuesday…..

  • BooBooBaby

Well isn’t this funny I have to deal with Uneducated Entitled Annoying Rude Vile Loud Lazy Black people working at the DMV, grocery stores, Post Office, City Hall, and other government jobs….and it is Massive Race Fatigue!!

I am Not White or Black!! We get sick of YOU too!!!

  • Kathy Vilmar

time for her to lose her bloody job – friggin’ racist

  • Laura Wilson

Based on her tweets and quotes from the article, she was likely being “tone-silenced” (what the hell is that anyway? I tried googling it, and came up with a bunch of references to gun additions and MMORPGs and the like. muahahaha), condescended and “splained to” not because of the color of her skin, but because she’s a bit of a dum-dum.

I would like, just once, for the people who behave the way she does, to provide at least ONE valid example of this “micro-aggression” that is factually and actually being lobbed against them due to their skin-color.

    • Laura Wilson

Oh gee, just re-read the “tone policing” part. I’d read that incorrectly as “tone silencing” the first time around.

That’s a new one on me. Just when I think they (the SJWs, professional victims, antifa, BLM, etc.) can’t get any crazier, they crow “challenge ACCEPTED!” and prove me oh-so-wrong.

Apparently, if you ask someone to present their argument without screaming (attacking, insulting, etc.), you are exhibiting “privilege” that they “don’t have” (or something like that).

Wow…. So now, if we refuse to be yelled at, called names, forcefully and unlawfully detained in traffic by protestors etc., we’re being “micro-aggressive” and “exercising white privilege…”

I have no words strong enough to define this insanity.

  • Rusty Shackleford

Just imagine the reaction on her face about the opinions of the who have the unfortunate displeasure of living in communities with large black populations or having take public transportation with them.
Lord knows I couldn’t go one day without some black people publicly fighting or yelling at each other from opposite ends of the store.
I didn’t know how quiet life could be until I moved to a city with less than 10% blacks.

    • lilyred

Really. They couldn’t be quiet if they had to. I think it’s all for attention. Look at me. Uh, I’ll pass.

  • James Lipton

I have fatigue of small-minded people. I’m not being snarky here… I am legitimately tired of these people.

  • Willy Jones

    She’s a lovely lady

  • SteveO

“Five days of having ‘nice white ladies’ tell you to be ‘civil’ and ‘professional’ when you talk about the importance of acknowledging oppression and our profession’s role in it.” I think their were specific reasons they were lecturing YOU about being professional and civil. Think about their 5 days of hell trying to train such a person as you.

    • Pete

Everytime she was expected to do her job, she probably brought up some song and dance about slavery, oppression and lack of opportunities for black people. Thats most likely what she means about white people having to ‘Splain to her. Normally most white people avoid racial conversations around black coworkers like the plague, lest they end up in HR. I highly doubt it was them that kept bringing race up.

So translating what she was tweeting, I guess she really means: I hate my job and it’s white peoples fault that I have to work. I would write more but I’m feeling fatigued after reading her tweets and need to go and take a nap to sleep if off.

  • BorderGuard

What’s a library? Sounds like some kind of front for WELFARE PARASITES.

  • janelle

I had “racial fatigue” when I worked with blacks at a fast food place. Never ending complaining from, “She didn’t get the job as manager because she is black ” to “customers won’t order if I come out to get their order, they wait for a white worker” this when customers just stepped up to decide on what to order and took too long to decide, like 2 minutes.

  • perryrants

    sad or funny. not sure??

    “…Five days of having

talk about the importance of acknowledging oppression and our

I’d like to know WHERE, in society today, this “oppression” isn’t acknowledged? Quite the opposite is going on these days.

    Re: “…and our profession’s role in it…”

My gosh this woman writes utter crapola. Role in what? Oppression? Really now…libraries and librarians are “oppressive?” Siggggggggghhhh, if we don’t nip her kind (meaning SJW professional victim idiot, NOT meaning black) in the bud…we’re doomed.

    • Chris Lamparello

She has a problem with being “civil” and “professional.” That says it all. If she thinks the NYU library is bad, wait until she graduates. My guess, however, is that she’ll stay in academia forever. She would have a very difficult time anywhere else, and only in that world is this idiocy taken seriously.

  • megajess

Sweet cheeks – you mean you had to work for that paycheck? Hmm, perhaps you should get another job. I hear Evergreen is hiring. They hate white people too!

  • fishydude

She has been indoctrinated in race hatred. I doubt she has spent much time with any people outside her little echo chamber.
A total fruitcake. She is going to go postal on a white ungrad within the next school year.

  • DEPLORABLE Grandma Susan

Well, she could look for work in an all black library. With only black authors.

But since no part of Africa ever managed to develop written languages or a tradition of publication, wouldn’t that be cultural appropriation? Hmmm, I think I see her conflict, the poor dear.

    • Tobi Alafin

      Egypt begs to differ.

      • lilyred

        Well, Egypt…

  • Dolo

I’ll bet she’s a pain in the arse to be around. Not many friends i suspect. Always finding fault.

  • Alex Kaufman

Oh, Dunkirk came AFTER D-Day. Here I always thought it came before. Smh… And this woman wants to tell others about history.

  • Deborah Porretta Smola

how can anyone make comments like the ones she made and expect to keep their job? but I suppose if she lost her job, it would be due to ANOTHER person’s racism, not hers……smh

  • Tarantula2

“Racial fatigue”? 13% of the population committing 70% of the crime. How’s that for fatigue…

  • Michael Kleemann

people of color……..what a stupid phrase. Last time I checked white was a color.

  • Michael Kleemann

her and people like her should stop blaming others. Playing the everlasting victim must lead to even more fatigue.

  • NewYawkahBroad

Is this ignorant, racist HAG bitching about the descendants of 644,000+ WHITE men that died to free her people? How about the BLACK land and SLAVE owners (Anthony Johnson being just one who SUED to keep a FREED black slave and WON) in America at the same time as the whites! Well, I’m SURE she knows. She DOES work in a library!

    • lilyred

Wasted lives and treasure on both sides. Appears the South had the right idea of how to control some species.

  • wmartin46

Another reason to shut down all libraries. Virtually everything you need can be obtained on line–without have to deal with “wound up” people like this woman who seems to have no idea what libraries are all about to begin with.

  • Tobi Alafin

As a black male, I am ashamed at the disgusting that she’s perpetrating.

Nothing grinds my gears like hearing y countrymen lament how Nigeria’s a shit hole because of white people-as if the British made us corrupt.

To hear others spouting such racist BS and then defending it with pseudointellectual crap, just irks me the more.

Fellow blacks and other ethnic minorities, the cure for racism isn’t more racism, and if we don’t stop blaming white people for all our problems, we’ll never progress.

    • Pete

We know the difference between black people like yourself and idiots like her. Don’t ever feel the need to explain that you’re not like her.

      • Tobi Alafin

Thanks for the vote of confidence. 🙂

  • Kenneth Barten

Is she a librarian for books of the English language?
    Ghetto speak?…
    Ebonics?…
For a person who supposedly ” works with books containing writing”…
She has the SHITTIEST Grammar I’ve seen outside a 1st grade classroom….

  • JCHPSU77

She will be happy in Liberia, one way, never to return. 100% 3rd world “black culture” there, and no whiites around for miles.

Of course, the locals there will enslave her, or eat her.

Whatever………………..one less black “entitled” trash Democrat.

  • Robin Martz

Perhaps you should go live in a predominantly BLACK country!

  • AverageJoe1987

She’s a bigot and should be fired.

She wants to talk fatigue? She should try being white in today’s world where everyone acts like you’re the scum of the Earth just because you’re white, and listening to minorities try to justify their own bigotries because of stuff that isn’t even going on anymore in America.

    • Tobias Keith

That’s a matter of perspective. If you’re White and feel that way, you need to re-assess.

Did you ever stop and think they hired a dumb black woman because they had to? 88% white? Thats pretty good seeing how they are 67% and blacks are 13% of the TOTAL population. And seeing only 33% of these blacks have college degrees, that may be too low.

  • Dan Danson

I would expect someone working at a library to write proper English …

  • happytortuga

It’s not “race fatigue”. It’s “liberal fatigue”. She spent 5 days with other liberals. It should have been utopia for her. They are the only ones who would put up with her crap attitude.

  • sad mother

What a loser. Wonder who got knocked out of that job because of black privilege?

  • 0bsoleteMan

    We ALL have racial fatigue.

  • Calvin

I’m guess the “‘splained to” part was where other professionals were telling people how to act professionally.

Also, how can you be a librarian and not know that D-Day and Dunkirk are two separate historical events and that the “white AF” movie is about Great Britain?

As for your finger, he has more class in his little finger than you will you entire life.

  • Pat Patrix

Pretty sure if there was any actual discrimination it was based on her being a racist miserable cunt and not for just being black.

  • Tobias Keith

You know, sugar, if you just reword it a bit: race fatigue is “a real physical, mental, and emotional condition that White people experience after spending a considerable amount of time dealing with the bullshit that inevitably occurs when in the presence of the blacks. The more blacks, the longer the time period, the more intense the race fatigue.” There, fixed it for ya. Have a nice day!

  • NOmORePrOpaGanDA

Mmm, hey April… gtf over yourself.

  • rightmemes

    racist much?

  • DEPLORABLE Grandma Susan

Poor dear. Dunkirk was a town on the coast of France were the entire BEF (British Expeditionary Force) was surrounded in 1940 as the German Army invaded France. It was one of the saddest, bravest moments in history. The entire British Army was trapped on the beaches and were rescued over a 10 day period in the reverse of D-Day, 4 years later, which was the Allied Invasion of France.

Other than both having a D in the name, there is no similarity. So, yea, white AF. To quote you, yourself: “Go read a bk.”.

  • Pudenda Shenanigans

Well isn’t she just a lovely ray of sunshine.

  • Paddytoplad

Dunkirk and D-day. Well they both start with D I suppose. Dumb as fuck.

    • Archie Bunker

Dieppe was the same too! lol

  • Tobias Keith

Methinks that April has made a bad career choice.

  • Audrey Thomas

Nasty racist. If she worked for me, she would be immediately unemployed with no possibility of a good reference.

  • ME

This asshole should get fired for her tweets and what she says about other people. If the shoe were on the other foot the SJW Gestapo would be calling on AL Sharpin to come in.

  • Jena Witherson

I work at a library (not NYU, but on the East Coast), and the liberal SJW takeover is sickening. Books by feminists & frauds like Jessica Valenti & Bernie Sanders are all over the shelves. Books by Mark Levin, Trump, Ann Coulter, etc. equal ignorant screeching/preaching. It’s one of the reasons why I’ve applied for jobs that don’t pertain to libraries.

  • Patty JoJo

I’m wondering what it would be like to be a White woman in a group of 88% BLM young men, yelling and showing how superior they are? That would be scary. Being in a group of 88% White librarians… well come on Ms. Hathcock and get a life.Quit bringing racism into every facet of your life. I believe that many Blacks ‘hear’ people saying things in a manner that is not meant. I have experienced it with not only Blacks, but with Whites, too. Family, work, church, etc. So, maybe you need to mature and learn how to live in the world the way it is. If you do not want to be around White people, then don’t. Plain and simple. OK?

  • UncRemus

Jamima needs Fired and a EBT…then set her on fire!

  • jay kaye

    Well that is quite disheartening.

  • The Irredeemables

    Bet she smells like Somalia.

  • PaulMurrayCbr

This, people, is what hate looks like.

  • Jason Ballard

Crazy comes in all colors. Also being Educated she has to take a course and get that grammar corrected soon 0.x

  • ssgtnelson

I guess I don’t understand since no one ever splained anything to me… though I’m not quite sure what that is.

  • Mark Weaver

Another disgusting, fatherless, hoodrat who has been taught by her single mama to hate white people since day one. Let’s all join hands and hope that she doesn’t breed any bastards like herself.

  • Alana Forsyth

Why don’t they go back to Africa if they want to be in the majority? I’m serious. They mind being here with whites, so let them go to where they came from. All they want to do here is cause dissention and trouble. I am getting sick and tired of black people whining and spewing their hateful words. They should go back to Africa if they cannot concentrate on being decent human beings and getting along with everyone.

    • lilyred

They know that they have it made here. In Africa they would have to dig roots for food and bathe in a river.

  • 5ini5ter

I wonder how a white person who admitted to being tired from being around black people would be treated by the msm…

  • Wad

Librarians? What an antiquated career choice. She should look for a job processing punch cards, or hauling cargo by mule train.

  • Justin Greiner

This is the product of the left’s race obsession

  • Larry Figg

She must be a joy to work with.

  • Guest

Maybe now she can understand how me, as a “yt dood” feels after dealing with the stupidity, racism, and cultural differences of her kind for 5 minutes.

  • Suzan D Reed

Confusing the evacuation of Dunkirk with D-Day? Maybe she should read a book.

    • Joe Blow

Black librarians don’t read I guess

  • misha1d1

She is a racist moron, and like absolutely all racist morons in the past, she will rationalize her racism.

  • When I don’t use a coma or period on twitter the left attacks my tweet and insults my intelligence, without regard to content. I’ll bet only a ‘racist’ would do that to her incoherent dribble.

  • Leo

what she is trying to say without saying it: “I’m tired of white people telling me what to do”

    • Joe Blow

what she is trying to say without saying it: “I’m don’t want to act civilized and intelligent because I can’t.”

  • Ifallalot

“Were there no POC soldiers who landed at D-Day cuz that #Dunkirk movie is looking white af. ” She must not read any of those books that she takes care of at the library

    • Joe Blow

LMFAO that she is too retarded and uneducated to realize that Dunkirk wasn’t D-Day

  • Mango

Judging by this woman’s behavior on Twitter she actually could have benefited from those lectures on professionalism and courtesy had she not been so resistant. When you’re on social media using your REAL name and a photo of your face, you have to be very, very dumb to be crude and immature when you’re a member of a profession like that. She’s whining about being “‘splained to” yet she exercises no restraint on Twitter. Giving the Eiffel Tower the middle finger because the President is in France and actually posting a photo of yourself doing it? Oh yes, this is definitely the librarian I want helping me with my research. Groan.

  • Califan

This quote about “race fatigue”: “a real physical, mental, and emotional condition that people of color experience after spending a considerable amount of time dealing with the micro- and macro-aggressions that inevitably occur when in the presence of white people. The more white people, the longer the time period, the more intense the race fatigue. ” Does it go the opposite direction, too? Can white people get “race fatigue” when dealing with African-Americans? Because I’m sure this woman “micro- and macro-aggressions” the white people she works with and deals with every day. I’m feeling fatigued just reading about her.

  • Reiver

Must be tough having to rise to the occasion and deal with intelligent people, when you are a bigoted fool. Having to speak clearly, having to serve others as your position requires, having to be polite and being held to the same standards of all the non-Blacks that hold your same position. If there was any inkling of equality, your dumb, lazy self would have already been fired.

    • lilyred

      Amen.

  • Paul Bryant

This is why i hate coones! Stupid and Ugly!

  • Joseph Molion

The epitome of class. Wowzers, would the world lose its collective minds should a white person ever suggest that it’s exhausting dealing with people of color though.

I don’t even know how to express how disgusted I am with this woman without some numbskull accusing me of being racist.

  • Joe Blow

    black females are the worst

  • David Calvani

Black fools like this woman give me racial fatigue. Kill yourself already, beyotch.

  • Ransomitall79

She spent 5 days around white people and got “race fatigue,” if a white woman spends five days around blacks she has STDs, rape wounds, and less property.

  • Mermadic American

I’ve been a librarian for 30 years, and I’m half black. I spent 2 days at that ALA conference and don’t remember speaking to this woman at all. She said she was seeking out black people.. not me, though. I didn’t seek out black people or happas, I talked to people. There was no racial tension at the conference when I was there, it was an even mix between races from what I experienced. Though, as always, there were more female librarians, just like there are more male construction workers, some professions are more desirable to women than men, and I don’t remember a single man talking about being discriminated against based on their gender.

The job requires you to deal directly with people, including children, the elderly and a LOT of people who’s opinions you might not agree with. Those who make the best librarians have a very open and kind social mannerism, something that is required to deal with range of people, from young to old, cranky to overly kind, disabled, poor, rich, uneducated, know it alls…. Yes, it gets draining, people get draining, but part of our job is dealing with said people. Why is it that this woman is unable to deal with people and is being racially drained here where the atmosphere was so much calmer and opening than a college campus or city library by far. i feel she simply doesn’t have the temperament to deal with people… Or, more likely, she’s just a racist and wanted to complain. Fine, be a racist, lady, but don’t start blaming your own for your racism. If that illness was real, I want to claim it for all the crazies and jerks I deal with daily.. but I can’t, cause it’s not. Ug.

    • DEPLORABLE Grandma Susan

      Perfect response! +1000

  • CatoYounger

I’d love to see her be white for a day and have to hang around her. Talk about fatigued…

  • CatoYounger

Let’s cut to the chase and do a mental experiment. First, let’s pretend ALL the white people in the US are somehow mysteriously teleported to Australia and have to stay there. Would that make things better, worse, or the same for the remaining people? Now, let’s pretend the reverse – that ALL black people are mysteriously teleported to Australia. Are the remaining people better off, worse off, or the same? Just interesting…

  • OC21

If tone-policed means that people were telling not to be such a _____. Then it was justified, black people never think that they may be the problem in these situations, it is always racism.
PS.The possibility of POC’s being on the beach at Dunkirk in 1940 was rare. A librarian should have a basic grasp of all subjects.

  • carolchristine

Yes, If we were to complain about black people ,we would most likely lose our jobs. I feel that a majority of black people hate whites a heck of a lot more than whites hating blacks .

  • Lolly811

For over 50 yrs. black people have had Affirmative Action. That means special treatment on the job and for jobs and the same in colleges and schools. What did they do with it? Our schools are now war zones and the preferred profession is drug dealing. You can’t blame that on white people.

    • fugly

      But they’ll try, nonetheless.

  • Marnee

She wants to hit the Ghetto Lottery. and I’m sure she’ll get it.

    • fugly

      You mean BWC?

  • lonestar

I wonder what’s the percentage of black people at her library? And she’s upset the movie Dunkirk is historically correct?

  • Clyde Nicholas

Almost everyday I read in the daily mail constant reporting of beatings, rapes, and murders of whites by black people,These news stories are suppressed by a PC national american media and i’m getting black criminal activity fatigue to the point that i’m refraining from looking at that paper anymore.

  • Sal Delrosario

maybe she should move to Africa so she won’t be stressed! Racist POS

  • ytuque

If white privilege were a thing, a white person who was as ignorant and racist as this black woman would get away with it while a black person would be immediately canned. But it doesn’t work that way, so it appears black privilege is a thing. Society has low standards for blacks, so we mostly ignore the stupid things they say and do.

  • Jerryl Ann Wilson Smith

What an ignorant ass! Remind me who the racists are…………

  • Nikki

So, I guess she wants to get paid more for dealing with those pesky white folks.

  • Vote4SexualPredator’sWife2016

Trying to decipher her tweets is giving me fatigue. I thought one needed an education to be a librarian….

  • disqus_bNINQWaOvz

This woman is simply a hateful bigoted intolerant racist.

  • Keith Patton

A black librarian who is totally ignorant of WWII history. Go figure. There were POC who came ashore on D-Day in AA (look that up) battalions and transportation battalions. Dunkirk was, only four years BEFORE D-Day and BEFORE the US was in the war. Racist Idiot.
She might learn to spell too, text abbreviations are for the weak minded.

  • Keith Patton

The girl’s attitude is a legacy of Barry’s tenure in the White House. They feel empowered. That’s fine, but they need to be reminded that they still only make up 13% of the country’s population and have already been eclipsed by the Hispanic population. So they will probably always be on the lower socio-economic rung. And I don’t think the race-victim card is going to play too well once the Hispanics get in the majority.

  • Mermadic American

Just an FYI, since there isn’t much information on this small movement, an Anti-Librarian, which this woman tagged herself as, if someone who disagrees with the current methods used by libraries. Many would rather see entire libraries converted to E Book, remove the Dewey decimal system and replace it with something else, some simply want to see minority areas given more access to more books (an argument I have heard, but one which can be countered with information. Book acquisitions are only limited by budget in almost every public or campus library, not social standards.) These are tiny issues, really, what are called non-issues and nitpicking by those of us who have worked in the system for years.

Though, I have heard some non-librarians call themselves anti-librarians for having rooms in their house full of bookshelves or a personal library and choose to order their books in ways other than Dewey, but these aren’t professionals, that use of the word does not apply here. She is an Anti-Librarian probably because she dislikes her profession. That term tells me a lot about this woman.

  • Kathy Carlson

After 8 years of Obama, and being programmed as an oppressed victim of the white Devils, she will take longer than most to deprogram herself from looking at everyone through her racist looking glass.

  • AuntieFran

Part of the entitlement generation who thinks everything should — make that must — go her way. Sad…

  • CuckLivesMatter

Milo please tell me the library she works in has many copies of your book.

  • Felinity2

I thought about cerebrally-shackled April this morning as I read today’s “American Minute”, which again highlights the brilliant mind and career of Booker T. Washington, president of Tuskegee Institute. He wrote in Up From Slavery (1901) about his address to the International Exposition in Atlanta on September 18, 1895:

“Atlanta was literally packed, at the time, with people from all parts of the country, and with representatives of foreign governments, as well as with military and civic organizations.

The afternoon papers had forecasts of the next day’s proceedings in flaring headlines. All this tended to add to my burden. I did not sleep much that night.

The next morning, before day, I went carefully over what I planned to say. I also kneeled and asked God’s blessing upon my effort. Right here, perhaps, I ought to add that I make it a rule never to go before an audience, on any occasion, without asking the blessing of God upon what I want to say…”

“A ship lost at sea for many days suddenly sighted a friendly vessel. From the mast of the unfortunate vessel was seen a signal, ‘Water, water; we die of thirst!’

The answer from the friendly vessel at once came back, ‘Cast down your bucket where you are.’

A second time the signal, ‘Water, water; send us water!’ ran up from the distressed vessel, and was answered, ‘Cast down your bucket where you are.’

And a third and fourth signal for water was answered, ‘Cast down your bucket where you are.’

The captain of the distressed vessel, at last heading the injunction, cast down his bucket, and it came up full of fresh, sparkling water from the mouth of the Amazon River…”

“To those of my race who depend on bettering their condition in a foreign land or who underestimate the importance of cultivating friendly relations with the Southern white man, who is their next-door neighbor, I would say: ‘Cast down your bucket where you are’-cast it down in making friends in every
manly way of the people of all races by whom we are surrounded…”

“To those of the white race who look to the incoming of those of foreign birth and strange tongue and habits of the prosperity of the South, were I permitted I would repeat what I say to my own race:

‘Cast down your bucket where you are.’ Cast it down among the eight millions of Negroes whose habits you know, whose fidelity and love you have tested.”

“Opportunities never come a second time, nor do they wait for our leisure.”

To paraphrase Shrillary, Mr. Washington was “no ways tah-ird” — or “fatigued” — by being around people from all walks of life. He didn’t waste emotions by reacting, he ACTED — and shone!

    Get a life, April!

  • DEPLORABLE Grandma Susan

Poor dear, has anyone yet ever explained to you the difference between Dunkirk and D Day? Does it make you sad to be so openly and obviously stupid about recent history that your POC claim just made you a laughing stock?

I mean, junior high school kids laughed at you! That can’t feel good! Have you recovered and moved on from the humiliation?
