In an interview with ABC News yesterday, House Intelligence Committee official Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) conceded that there is no concrete evidence of collusion between Russia and President Donald Trump.
As The Daily Caller reports, Schiff, responding to ABC News host Martha Raddatz, stated that despite the investigation now stretching into its 11th month, “I’m not prepared to say that there’s proof you could take to a jury.”
“But I can say that there is enough that we ought to be investigating,” he continued. “Indeed, it would be negligent for us not to investigate.”
“If a foreign government, in this case Russia, has something that they can hang over the head of our president or our administration that can influence U.S. policy, it is very much in our national security interest to know it.”
In other words, the past 11 months have been a waste of taxpayer money.
