In Bill Cosby’s first interview since the sexual assault lawsuits, Cosby seemed to agree with the claim that racism played a part in the sexual assault allegations against him…

Bill Cosby did an interview with Michael Smerconish on SiriusXM and he seemed to agree that racism could have played a role in his sexual assault scandal. Cosby said that there were different “nefarious” “tentacles” and believed that some of it might be connected to racism. When Smerconish mentioned that Cosby’s accusers were both black and white, Cosby accused them to be motivated by whether they could be able to “get back at someone.”

Perhaps this is a good move for Cosby. It seems that blaming racism for one’s actions is becoming more and more acceptable as time goes on. A new report even claims that the London attacker snapped after falling victim to racism. In another instance, a cop from Michigan found out he was 18% black, so he sued the police department and the city for racism. Now, Bill Cosby seems like he wants to blame the sexual assault allegations from dozens of women on some sort of racist conspiracy.

Listen to a clip from the explosive interview here:

Smerconish even tweeted about the comment:

The rest of Twitter didn’t take long at all to react to the latest development in the Cosby scandal…

Meh.. To a degree, there might actually be some merit to that, though probably not in the way he was implying. Considering the timing of when these accusations (which had been accumulating for MANY years) suddenly caught mainstream attention, there’s no doubt in my mind that Black Lives Matter played a role in this in order to discredit him as he had been publicly telling blacks for years to be self-reliant and not to blame whites. He was threat to their movement so they took him out— that would mean racism definitely WAS a factor. That’s not to say, he isn’t necessarily still guilty and they just dug up legitimate dirt on him. If so he, definitely deserves to go to jail. Then again, the way the Trump accusers suddenly popped up in a surprising similar way, I wouldn’t be entirely shocked if he were innocent either.

More than likely the women saw opportunity to get publicity and money.

Both the Liberal and Black rights community have been negative towards Cosby for decades for one simple reason. Cosby promotes and supports black families and is critical of black people playing the black card for their problems. We’ll he has finally realized that their is prejudice but it is Liberal prejudice against conservative people.

Why not? It will likely backfire but playing the victim seems to be a popular defense. I find it hard to believe that there weren’t any rumors about his behavior and women warning each other not to be alone with him. Too many women are impressed by fame.

The only person with nefarious tentacles was Cosby.

“…It seems that blaming racism for one’s actions is becoming more and more acceptable…”

Just because an idiot (like Cosby) misuses the charge of racism to defend the indefensible, doesn’t negate the legitimate cases where racism is the cause of aberrant behaviour — which the quoted line in your article seems to imply. —D

I know i am supposed to feel offended by your response. But I am not offended. Maybe i am going thru growing pains. Stay cool —D

  • DaisyToo

It’s absolutely commonplace for sexual predators to blame their victims for their own crimes.

    • PaulMurrayCbr

Almost as common as it is for women to cry rape twenty years after the fact.

      • DaisyToo

Are you suggesting that Cosby is innocent of rape? Because he isn’t.
At any rate, Cosby is classic in that he continues to blame his victims for his crimes.

  • HT

Consider that Cosby was an equal opportunity harasser and his victims included women from all races, it’s hard to substantiate his claim with any actual logic.

  • Justmakeitallstop

    that’s a stretch…

  • PaulMurrayCbr

Bill Cosby is innocent. He is guilty at most of doing ‘ludes – which were legal at the time – and partying with some women. Men with Cosby’s fame and money at the time these offences were alleged to have been committed simply don’t need to rape anyone – waaay too busy dodging and fielding all the women throwing themselves at them.

I wouldn’t say it is racism in the traditional sense, but the fact that these accusations against Mr. Cosby all snowballed after he advocated for blacks to take more responsibility for their actions and to stop blaming white people for their problems is a coincidence that cannot be ignored.

  • 0bsoleteMan

Bill Cosby needs to do one of the following things to save himself:

    1. Change his last name to Polanski.
    2. Sneak into Mexico and renounce his citizenship. Then come back as an illegal.

In either case, he’ll be the next hero for the left.

They went to his room, that equals consent. They accepted drinks from him, that is at least 50% of the way to consent. And the for the way they partied back then, Cosby did nothing wrong.
