WikiLeaks has highlighted what appears to be an eyebrow-raising email sent to Hillary Clinton’s policy advisor in 2012 when the former was Secretary of State.

The email, found here, shows Hillary Clinton’s then-policy advisor Jacob Sullivan declaring “AQ [Al-Qaeda] is on our side in Syria.”

A screenshot of the email (highlighting is presumably WikiLeaks’). It is reportedly contained in WikiLeaks’ archive of Clinton’s infamous private email server goodies.

Those words quickly drew attention after WikiLeaks shared them in a tweet which has since garnered 12K retweets.

Sputnik News attempted to provide some context to the email, stating it “came in February 2012, when Syria was about to enter its second year of civil strife and just weeks after the al-Nusra Front terrorist group… was formed as the official al-Qaeda branch in Syria.”

Sputnik News also states that the email refers to “a report mentioning that al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri had called on Muslims from across the Middle East to help rebel forces fighting the Syrian government.”

Writing for True Activist, Matt Agorist states “what this email shows is that the US knew Al-Qaeda leader al-Zawahiri called on Muslims in Turkey and the Middle East to aid the rebels in the Free Syrian Army.”

    As expected?!

  • Chad Heroman

You want to shock me? Show me something the progressive left does that is actually shocking. They don’t shock me because they are capable of anything and everything as long as it helps them. So as I was saying, nothing those corrupt idiots do is shocking anymore.

    • CORMAC___NJ

No Chad. If they were only capable of anything and everything as long as it helped them, we would not see such devastating policies.

These people are even willing to make sacrifices, if it causes harm to others.

It’s time for conservatives to stop being so naive. Liberal “values” have one goal, and that is to do as much as possible to maximize human suffering and minimize joy.

      • Dante Alighieri

Your message is less effective when you engage in overkill. “…to do as much as possible to maximize human suffering…”

        Really?

        • Chad Heroman

I don’t think they try for sufferage, I just think their ideas or so misplaced that suffering is bound to happen. The reason why people say Political Correctness is because it isn’t Actually Correct. If it was actually correct it would just be called “correctness”. I truly think they mean well, but are too invested in their own sense of purpose to ever stop the harm they cause.

          • we’re just busy fixing the world rather than reading about it and just sitting on our asses complaining! 😉 while, you guys read “news” from gay neo-nazis. Reagan is looking down on you, and you’ve shamed him and his memory….

        • CORMAC___NJ

Yes, really. There is nothing about that statement that I do not mean literally, completely and with all sincerity.

And that IS the message. You just don’t like that I’m saying it.

    • Sally Smith

They could do something shocking – they could actually do something RIGHT! It’s never going to happen though.

  • CORMAC___NJ

Of course al Qaeda was on their side. Obama and Clinton’s mission in the region was to replace secular leaders with Islamic extremists. What’s not to love if you’re a terrorist?

    • Gerardo Gonzalez

Same Bush did with Sadam Hussein. That was the big mistake that started all

      • sfcmac

The so-called “secular” Saddam Hussein was a megalomaniac who used chemical weapons against religious sects he didn’t like and slaughtered thousands more in a reign of terror that lasted years.

      • Beagle

Started it? Ignoring 1400 years of jihad imperialism, President Carter backed Ayatollah Khomeini over the Shah of Iran in 1979. Carter and Brezinski decided to use Afghan mujahideen against the Soviets in the same year. 1979 was very consequential in laying the foundation for our subsequent troubles.

    • Riley Lee Hamilton

hey morons. That’s actually true and mccain agrees.

      So does israel.

Saddam was given billions by reagan. You right wingers seriously have a complete and utter lack of historical knowledge.

      • sfcmac

Speaking of historical amnesia, no one does it like the leftwing morons. In spite of Barky’s eight year disaster of policy failures, law-breaking, and constitutional violations, you’re still willing to perform fellatio on the shitbag.

        • ssgtnelson

Just block Riley; they’ve been copy/pasting the same comment, over and over.

          • sfcmac

Will do. Thanks for the heads up.

  • Dante Alighieri

The enemy of my enemy can still be my enemy.

Clearly from the material you’ve provided Jake Sullivan meant Al-Qaeda perceives the US as a secondary threat. Your headline is bit misleading.

  • Ivan_in_Phoenix

Something about giving aid & comfort to our enemies comes to mind…

    • Riley Lee Hamilton

hey idiot. israel also agrees with this.

  • Riley Lee Hamilton

hey morons. That’s actually true and mccain agrees.

    So does israel.

Isn’t that poker up your dumb Marxist arse getting a bit sore now?? Or perhaps you’re ready for a much bigger one. One day retribution will come and won’t be pretty, especially for emasculated silly girlish Beta males. Known as the Eunuchs of the West.

  • DaisyToo

Axis of evil: Hillary, Obama and the Islamists.

  • And yet, Hillary Clinton’s never and will not deny that “then-policy advisor Jacob Sullivan ‘positions’ ” ISIS has been on her side in Syria against Assad {and Trump?}.
