Family Feud host Steve Harvey has reportedly spoken out in praise of President Donald Trump, stating he has been making good on his promise to help impoverished communities in America.

As Breitbart reports, Harvey had a meeting with the President at Trump Tower shortly after the election. The men reportedly discussed Harvey’s desire to provide input to the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

According to TMZ, which spoke to Harvey yesterday, the comedian and TV personality “is giving President Trump a big thumbs up” in regards to his administration’s work in impoverished areas.”

“As far as doing what he promised me to do, he’s doing it,” said Harvey. “I’m working with HUD. I’m going to get some housing for underprivileged people. We [are] going to set up some centers around the country. I’ve met with HUD. It’s going really well. God willing, it’ll work out.”

TMZ’s reporter went on to put words in Harvey’s mouth by suggesting the TV personality was saying Trump is doing a good job in his office.

“I didn’t say that,” interrupted Harvey. “All I said was he’s keeping his word to what he said he would do.”

Harvey praises Trump. But he knows that if he straight-up calls Trump a good President, he’ll be blacklisted for life. Walking on egg-shells. Hollywood sucks.

Should have asked him why nearly all of the families of Family Feud are PoC. If it were a white host that had nearly all white families we’d never hear the end of it until the show were canceled or the host was replaced by a PoC.

Of course he is keeping his word. Men with balls know that.

“As far as doing what he promised me to do, he’s doing it,” said Harvey.

Isn’t it a bit early to conclude this. He hasn’t even been in office for 100 days. Where are the stats & data that confirm “Trump is keeping his promise to help impoverished neighborhoods.”

Let’s check back in a year and see.

    • Mark Seager

I got from Harvey that, after 100 days, it’s ‘so far so good’. After 100 days isn’t that enough? It’s a hell of a lot better than ‘I haven’t heard a damn thing from anyone’?

    • none

Thats just how good he is at dealing right away with issues.

  • Jason Mendelson

How is Trump keeping his promise? Harvery wanted more funding for the inner city. Trump promised to cut funding for many anti-poverty programs.

    • Mark Seager

Jason, can you enlighten all of us as to the conversations that are taking place between Harvey and representatives at HUD? Please, clarify for us, what Harvey was lying about, when he said “He’s keeping his word to me”.

      • Jason Mendelson

When did I call Harvey a liar? A liar is someone who knowingly says an untruth. Harvey is a proponent for public housing while Trump advocated cutting the budget for low income housing in his budget. Maybe he meant HBCUs. How can conservatives support Trump giving more money to universities?

        • joekf

Typical liberal aren’t you Jason? Giving people money DOESN’T help them. Giving them jobs DOES help them. Which is what Trump is doing.

And now the kicker. Liberals: “America doesn’t spend enough money on education.” Facts: “America spends more money on education per capita than any other nation in the world.” Liberals: “That’s a LIE!” Trump: “Okay well I’ll give more money to universities.” You: “How can people support Trump giving more money to universities?” Fucking regressive idiot.

Also, I don’t support Trump giving more money to universities. I went to UW Seattle for a year and it was just a big liberal propaganda machine. And so are most universities around the nation today. College is a sham and nobody should waste their money on it. If people stopped supporting this insane colleges like Berkeley, they would change. Trade schools and the armed services are the only decent strongholds of real education and knowledge nowadays.

          • Jason Mendelson

College isnr a sham you moron. It all depends what you study. To be a doctor, attorney, engineer, nurse, teacher, scientist, financial analyst, FBI agent, and plenty of other lucrative and key professions, you need college degrees. Even humanities arent pointless depending on what you plan to do with them. Even many vocational fields you need at least some sort of higher education. Hence, trade schools. Also, you’re too stupid to realize that more jobs than not require at least a BA even if it isnt applicable to that field. There’s a reason college graduates have an over 70 percent labor force paricipation rates and HS graduates only have one that’s below 60. You’ve obviously never read anything on the subject and the reason dropped out of college is because you arent smart enough to make it through. You’re also a moron that believes nonsense. You say typical liberal but I havent espoused a lib view yet.

    • none

You need to see throough the crap of the Left.

      • Jason Mendelson

So you deny the reality that Trump proposed a budget that would have gutted numerous anti-poverty programs?

        • Rob

Sanctuary status has nothing to do with being anti-poverty. Anti-poverty doesn’t get better by giving allotments, it gets better by creating jobs. Trump has done that.

          • Jason Mendelson

I never mentioned sanctuary status. Trump hasnt created jobs. The government only creates government jobs. The government could pave a path for private sector job growth. Trump’s job growth so far has been virtually the same as Obama’s. You show your bias so easily.

          • Rob

As you show your ignorance. Government creates regulations. Regulations limit job growth in the private sector. Maybe when you grow up you’ll own your own business and you can tell me more how the government can help or hurt your chances of growing your team. Sorry Jason, your anti-Americanism isn’t going to be taken seriously here.

          • Jason Mendelson

What ignorance are you talking about? I literallt just said government can pave the way for job growth. I was sorta talking about deregulation are non lethal regulation. Trump so far has only seen the job growth thay Obama saw in the end. You’re moronic ignorance of praising Trump but bashing Obama for the same numbers shows how stupid you are. Trump literally has a cult following. Trump has been an ineffective failure so far. He failed on healthcare, failed on budget, tried to push threw a nothing burger immigration ban, and his Syria strike meant nothing.

          • Rob

K… stay tuned and hey, you might wanna pull your panties out of your ass. I am way to happy with life to argue with you. Have fun with your antifa bullshit.

          • Jason Mendelson

Antifa? Have you read nothing I posted. Your proof that conservatives have low IQ. The only insult you can think of is “SJW” and “Antifa.” I personally dont like Antifa. It’s no wonder most Trump voters didnt have college degrees.

          • Rob

I don’t care to insult you, your need to do just that, is why you’re so unhappy in your life you need to come bitch here. Bye Felicia

          • Agent 99

You have a whole lotta “blah blah blah” for a disinterested newbie.

          • joekf

Trump has created upwards of 200k jobs each month of his Presidency so far through regulations that help the private sector. Trump IS the private sector. If anyone knows how to create jobs as President, it’s Trump, and he’s done just that. And FYI, since you are EXTREMELY ignorant, Trump halted the federal government from hiring anyone, other than military personnel, in his first month. Sooooo, no, his job growth is not even somewhat similar to Obama’s job growth. Unemployment is at a 17 year all time low. Trump is doing better than Bush and Osama ever dreamed of.

          • Jason Mendelson

You lying moron. Unemployment isnt at a 17 year low. If it was, it was at an all time low under Obama too. Trump has virtually the exact U-6 and U-5 unemploynent rate that Obama had in the last two years of presidency. According to one report, Trump had “created” 227 jobs under his presidency. That’s virtually the same as Obama’s growth post recession. That’s why Obama averaged 109,000 jobs a month overall seeing that he saw a recession in the first three years of his time in office. You right wing morons love to say the government doesnt create jobs, but yet you claim Trump creates jobs. You idiot, liberal democrats support everything. Private sector job growth, public sector job growth, and the welfare state. They also invented federal job training and education programs.

          • Jason Mendelson

When did I say I agree with the liberal idea of more money for education being the solution. The highest and lowest ranked states for education are an even split between high pay strong union states and low pay weak union states.

          • Agent 99

You’re showing your own bias and trollishness now. It’s not like no one notices you have a brand new account –and an old soul to go with it.

    • Because ‘anti-poverty’ “programs” don’t work. They are setting about to get the job done.
      That’s a difference between them – freemen, and you – a slave.

      • Jason Mendelson

Haha idiot. Anti-Poverty programs do work in the sense that they eliminate starvation and extreme abject poverty. I’ts kind of odd that your profile pic is JFk who as president initated billions of federal tax dollars to anti-poverty programs under the “New Frontier.”

        • Agent 99

Best “anti-poverty programs” = education, training, and JOBS.

          • Jason Mendelson

You obviously never studied the war on poverty. The War on Poverty for the most part, was the creation of numerous federal education and job training programs.
