/pol/ claims to have identified the Berkeley Antifa rioter who weaponized a giant bike lock as Eric Clanton – a San Francisco State University professor.
This video reportedly shows a Trump supporter who fell victim to the Antifa bike lock attacker. Around the 17 second mark, you can clearly see him being struck in the head by what appears to be a lock swung by a person clad in all black.
Around the 17 second mark, you can clearly see a man in a pink shirt towards the bottom left of the screen being struck in the head by what appears to be a lock swung by a person clad in all black.
It appears the sleuths of /pol/ used a variety of photos from the last weekend’s Berkeley riots, matching them piece by piece until they arrived at an identity for the attacker.
Here are screenshots of their work, pulled by The Ralph Retort.
This Rate My Professors page appears to corroborate claims that Eric Clanton is a professor.
The page identifies him as a “professor in the philosophy department” at San Francisco State University.
This tweet identifies him as a one-time philosophy student.

This staff page from Diablo Valley College further identifies a San Francisco State University graduate named Eric Clanton as a philosophy teacher.
Further supporting allegations made against Clanton is an OkCupid profile named ‘Philosoriot’ featuring photos of the same man identified by /pol/.
The profile reads, “I teach and learn for a living. In my off-time I find ways to unteach and learn.”
The “I spend a lot of time thinking about…” section simply reads “REVOLUTION.”
The profile also identifies him as “gender nonconforming, non-binary” and “demisexual, sapiosexual.”
Compromising matters even further for Eric Clanton is this personal website associating him with the “Philosoriot” moniker, Diablo Valley College and San Francisco State University.
Here’s a screenshot of the CV hosted on that site.
