Things did not go very well for an apparent left-wing protester who refused to remove his face mask at today’s march at UC Berkeley.
According to The Gateway Pundit, the man was charged with “obstructing an officer from performing his duties.”
Video uploaded to Twitter shows the man arguing with police as they asked him to remove the mask.
“We want to let you go,” says one officer in the clip. “But we need some help here.”
“I mean, I feel like I’m being criminalized,” comes the reply. “Why would you take a mugshot of me?”
The officer goes on to state that he is not looking to take a mugshot of the man.
“It’s so we can recognize who you are because we need to know,” began the officer before he was cut off by the man inquiring why he ‘needed to know.’
The man was ultimately arrested and – surprise – the mask came off.
