Hawaii has landed at the forefront of a national controversy after blocking President Donald Trump’s executive order on immigration.

According to Newsline, Hawaii’s General Attorney Doug Chin has expressed some very strong views against the order, saying it “discriminates against persons based upon national origins” and “violates our nation’s freedom of religion.”

The problem? Hawaii takes in zero refugees from the nations blocked in Trump’s order.

In 2015, Hawaii brought in a whopping seven refugees; one from the Ukraine, one from China and five from Burma – none of which are Middle Eastern countries notorious for exporting extremists.

So, as Steven Crowder puts it, “Hawaii is doing now what leftists worldwide do every day: change and enforce the rules for everyone but themselves.”

“The State of Hawaii will certainly not have any major role when it comes to refugee relocation,” reads the Newsline article. “The state however wants to play a major role in molding the immigration and resettlement policy through the legal process.”

The reality is that Hawaii is restrictive for refugees because of both the high cost of living and its location. In other words, Hawaii is the definition of an elitist state that wants to influence what the rest of the nation does.

News of Hawaii’s hypocrisy is not sitting well with social media users.

This is not the only controversy surrounding Hawaii’s move in blocking Trump’s executive order. Check out the video below to learn about how Obama may be involved.

The Real Reason The Travel Ban Is On Hold

Of course, 0zero, his lackey judge, and Zuckerf… over in Hawaii are NOT importing any rapefugees to keep their libturd paradise as they like it. Instead they and all these placement “deep state agencies”, will put them into red states.

  • daz2002

President Trump will have a gift or 15000 for the good Chin.

  • BMV

ok, it would appear from the past Administration that the president can determine where the refugees need to go. My thought is that they can all go to Hawaii and Washington State.

    • Lotsa Snuggs

c’mon, oregon, too! bc portland shouldn’t feel left out.

    • Olaf Thunderfoot

Screw that, we don’t need them here in Eastern Washington.

    • Wanda Russell

      And California.

    • Defiance65

They are not going to put them in Democrat states. They know that these refugees are future Democrats so they will put them in strong Republican states with a small population so they can easily be flipped, such as the Dakotas. Obama put Somalians in Montana years ago. They can not only effect the presidential election but more easily at the local and state level.

Hawaiian Judge halts travel ban blocking certain countries citizens.
So….Hawaii takes in how many immigrants on average?

I’ll tell ya one thing about Hawaiians…
They don’t like main landers moving to their island, yet their Judge halts an order that is meant to protect the main land?

    This smells of monkey poop

    • Wonderer

Federal Judges are appointed for life and don’t care what the polls say. Their concern is protecting people when the Government is violating the Constitution. The beauty of our Constitution is that there is a baseline of protection even if you have a minority position as opposed to the popular will at the time. Lots of decisions were unpopular at the time i.e. Civil Rights; desegregation etc.

      • TennderHeart

Hahahaha! That is so funny. Let’s see, there was a very interesting decision on November 8th. The country elected Donald Trump President. Legally. And now the losers are plotting treason, right? Oops… why aren’t the courts protecting the President?

    • Ima Man-In-Adress

Do you mean the kind Obongo flings?

  • HT

The answer is clear, all these districts that are ruling against a constitutional order should be forced to take in all refugees from those 6 countries. All of them.

    • Wonderer

It is a temporary travel ban, not an order whether or not refugees will ultimately be accepted. Most of the 6 countries are not at war and therefore don’t have refugees (you know…like Jesus). BTW I am interested to know your qualifications as to whether something is constitutional or not. J.D.? L.L.M? Because you seem so sure of your opinion.

      • HT

JD actually. Plus I can read.

        • Wonderer

If only those attorneys arguing it is unconstitutional and Fed. Judges so ruling, could read. If that were the case your opinion would no doubt be celebrated. Hard to believe they got through Law School and passed the Bar without being able to read.

        • Peter

Discrimination based on religion is constitutional? That is essentially the concern behind the injunction, that the intent behind the executive order is unconstitutional. Tell us where in the Constitution that it’s okay to discriminate based on religion.

          • HT

You’re inferring into the order things that don’t exist in the order. The Constitution is clear on the matter and the activist judges are glaringly obvious about their political loyalties. They are a disgrace.

          • Florida Rebel

What you fail to realize is that the ban has nothing to do with CITIZENS. LEGAL US CITIZENS HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. This does not apply to them. What the rest of you do not comprehend is this: NON-CITIZENS have ZERO Constitutional Rights! You only have Constitutional Rights if you are a CITIZEN. What is so hard for you to understand? Was this not taught in our “Common Core” schools??

  • Fred

Let me see. The tarmac in Phoenix Arizona between Willie Clinton and the attorney general. Now obama being in Hawaii right before President Trumps ban on refugees? Or terrorists? Something smells like my back yard after the dogs pooping in the snow all winter and before I can clean it up.

  • Ellie M F

Wait until people stop going to Hawaii for their vacations and the refugees start shutting all over the Islands like they do. Rape their women and fight and kill the people there.
What part doesn’t these supposed to be What part are these supposed to be intelligent adults do not understand. They are all making a mess of the Countries and nice innocent people’s lives while Obama is sitting back enjoying the whole mess he created.
Was that the vest he could do?
If his mother is still living please have him committed.
    There’s no being proud there.
I know what a mother should be proud of or not and he ain’t it.

  • claudiusxiii

Very interesting! Falling into a Trump trap is like falling down the stairs. They are at step one.

  • David Calvani

I say we should boycott everything produced in Hawaii and stop going there for vacations. But we should send all current refugees living in the US to Hawaii!

  • George Matuszewski

Send all the refugees to Hawaii, at least the Spam would be safe!

  • Joe Lomsak

Send the refugees to Hawaii! You bitched about it judge, so live with what you wished for! Send all to your island! Let’s see what happens next you dumbass. Make Osama Bin Obama your buddy king of the terrorist you want in! Boy Judge, You are one dumbass mfkr!!!!

  • Mary Ann

I THINK WE SHOULD TAKE ALL THE REFUGEE’S THAT ARE IN MINNESOTA AND SEND THEM TO HAWAII ….AFTER ALL THEY DO NOT WANT THE MAINLAND TO GET THEM ALL

  • Ted Skovranek II

    hawaii – the new gitmo!

  • Rev Pete

Those who make the biggest fuss are often those who lose the least it seems.

  • James Lister

You know this is all for 4 people that Hawaii took in. The guy that is suing is doing it because he thinks his mother might come and visit him in 90 days when she hasn’t seen him in 18 years.

  • Billy S DuBose

When Judges and lawyers can use the America’s judicial system against the will and security of the American People, we have gone too far! Laws should be to protect and defend, not to enable a terrorist attack!

    • Billy S DuBose

      treason

      • Billy S DuBose

Americans are soon going to reach the boiling point of this subversive behavior, and take matters into their own hands!

        • Todd Foster

          I hope so.

    • Peter

The terrorists behind 9/11 and the Boston Marathon bombers didn’t come from the 6 countries being banned. They came from Saudi Arabia and Russia. The Pulse nightclub shooter was born in New York, and his father is from Afghanistan, which isn’t on the banned countries list either. In fact he visited Saudi Arabia before the shooting. Yet Saudi Arabia isn’t on the list because oil and money, and Trump’s real estate stakeholdings there. Conflict of interest much?

      • DefiantDeity

Nice start, now how about you tell us about the rest of people that were convicted of terrorism that ARE from these countries. You either let your bias get in the way so you can push an agenda, or you’re like the typical leftist that is completely ignorant of the facts because you only know what your masters tell you.

The Senate’s immigration subcommittee, the federal government has arrested and convicted at least 73 people from the seven countries of Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Sudan, and Yemen.

The Senate’s database was assembled despite repeated refusals by Obama’s deputies to provide immigration-related data to the Senate subcommittee in 2016. Looks like obama was attempting to not let the facts get out, just like Peter over here.

However, by reviewing public data, “at least 380 of the 580 individuals convicted of terrorism or terrorism-related offenses between September 11, 2001 and December 31, 2014, were born abroad,” the report concluded in June 2016. The committee’s report also added. At least 380 of the 580 were foreign-born (71 were confirmed natural-born, and the remaining 129 are not known). Of the 380 foreign-born, at least 24 were initially admitted to the United States as refugees, and at least 33 had overstayed their visas. Additionally, of those born abroad, at least 62 were from Pakistan, 28 were from Lebanon, 22 were Palestinian, 21 were from Somalia, 20 were from Yemen, 19 were from Iraq, 16 were from Jordan, 17 were from Egypt, and 10 were from Afghanistan.

The people convicted include five Iranians, 19 Iraqis, two Libyans, 21 Somalians, six Syrians, three Sudanese and 20 Yemenis. That’s a total of 76 people, at least.

  • Joe

1st, Hawaii doesn’t need the people that would boycott Hawaii.

  • Joe

Hawaii is too real for Trumpettes

  • Joe

People in Hawaii meet people from all over the world everyday. We understand the world better than people who live in isolated

  • kasualobserver

don’t know how these people can have so much to say about bringing in more refugees or against any kind of travel ban, etc., when they don’t do anything for them but run their mouths about how ‘the u.s.a. needs to take these people in’. this goes for all the blowhard celebrities who are not opening their gated communities to any of these refugees either

    • Lisa Grimm Willett

      Yay!!!!!!! too funny and true

  • informativex

Just show up with a military convoy and a fema truck full of arriving refugees at the judges neighborhood and cordon the perimeter and drop off his first 5,000 refugees. Make sure he understands his home has been volunteered by the judge and those of his neighbors too since it was his insistence these people be granted asylum you just assumed he meant in his home block. Problem solved that thing will get reversed in about 30 minutes max. ON NO But don’t let him off the hook so easily make him pay for the delivery the cordon and the return of those 5,000 refugees! Don’t take them away until he does. The costs to repair his neighborhood afterward that is his as well.

    • informativex

If that fails just drop off 5,000 more the next day and 5,000 more the next day. Oh please file all the motions you like those should come up for review in six months or so.

  • borderraven

Discrimination is the essence of sovereignty.

  • Missy Durham

I am fully on board with this. In Germany, they have constructed nice prefab housing (mostly for the single men who arrive here) throughout the cities, including the elite neighborhoods. I say, let’s take 250,000 of those nice young men stranded from Syria in Greece. We build them 1,000 person housing hoods alongside Hawaii’s top beaches and of course a mosque too. Let’s see how the lovely bikini clad liberals enjoy the presence of these young men on the beaches.

  • Blu Scarab

no no no….we’re doing this all wrong people. We should NOT send refugees to an island paradise. We should send them to places like the Sonoran Desert or northern Alaska. If we send refugees to Hawaii….they won’t ever want to leave.
