A lot of people have called Trump ‘Hitler’ or a ‘Nazi’ – so Independent Journal Review interviewed a woman born in Nazi Germany and asked her what she thought about the conflation.

We are going through a unique period of time where those on the left see it fit to compare Donald J. Trump to Hitler, or his policies to Naziism. Whether it’s MSNBC anchors comparing Trump’s speech to Hitler’s or Martin O’Malley comparing fighting Trump to fighting Hitler on Twitter – you’ve probably heard it all yourself. Even on our own college campuses, there were flyers saying Trump’s Make America Great Again Slogan is ‘coded neo-nazi language’.

Independent Journal Review interviewed Marion Ingeborg Andrews, who according to IJR was born in Dusseldorf, Germany during Hitler’s reign. She had a lot to say about the current political climate.

Trump, not actually Hitler?

“What is going on in this country is giving me chills. Trump is not like Hitler. Just because a leader wants order doesn’t mean they’re like a dictator.”

But wait, who does she think IS actually like Hitler? You’re going to love this.

“What reminds me more of Hitler than anything else isn’t Trump, it’s the destruction of freedom of speech on the college campuses — the agendas fueled by the professors.”

Could it be that perhaps she’s referring to incidences such as the violent anti-Milo riot at Berkeley? Maybe she’s thinking about the time Grand Valley State University students were threatened with arrest for distributing the U.S. Constitution, or she could be remembering when campus police took down a free speech demonstration because they didn’t have ‘prior approval’ from the administration.

Andrews went even further, talking about how Hitler actually started.

That’s how Hitler started, he pulled in the youth to miseducate them, to brainwash them, it’s happening today… It saddens me that we are teaching garbage in the schools and in the college. We don’t teach history anymore. History repeats itself over and over.

Most can recall many stories from recent memory that could very well be considered an attempt to ‘miseducate’ or ‘brainwash’ in colleges and universities. She’s right, it is happening today in colleges all over America. Whether it’s a professor telling their students they don’t have to open their heart to white Trump voters, or professors giving a day off of class to protest Trump, it seems to happen everywhere – without fail.

Andrews had something to say about all of the protesters, and the professors inciting them too.

“America needs to grow up. The young people who are rioting and destroying property, who have no respect for elders and freedom of speech, I was so proud to become a citizen of this country…

“Professors shouldn’t be telling their students to go after freedom of speech. They should be telling them that this is the greatest country in the world. The demonstrators can’t tell you why they’re demonstrating. I’m not a Republican. I’m not a Democrat. I just want the country to be at peace…

Finally, Andrews drove her point home with a warning about propaganda.

…I see what is happening here reflecting some of the things we saw in Germany, and it’s terrifying. It’s sad. But it’s not because of Trump. It’s because of poor education.

Trump is not like Hitler. The theory that he is is propaganda. Yes, I lived through some of Nazi Germany, but all you have to do is read some books about that period to see how wrong that theory is.”

    Bless her.

She’ll be called names and slandered because that’s all the left can do when presented with facts. Typically disagreeing with a leftist woman is called misogyny, except when that woman says something other than the liberal line. Then it’s fair game. Race, gender, and everything else are then attacked by the “tolerant” left.

    • Pat Fehr

who said it was facts coming from at most a 5 year old girl, please

      • Sam2

See just what I was talking about, thank you for commenting.

        • ICouldHaveLied

Hey, at least he was able to avoid the “MISOGYNIST!” knee-jerk reaction. He’s improving. It’s only a matter of time before he sounds like an insightful human being with a nuanced opinion worth listening to. Or am I being too optimistic and looking way too far ahead?

          • Sam2

You must be having a good day to be so generous. You might be right, but I think we’ve both got a better chance at winning the lottery than we do seeing numb nuts come even close to being someone with a with an opinion worth listing to.

It is not only that, I see patterns that happened to my country during comunism.
Brainwashing children happened here too. The commie party was the best of course and you were either in it or against it. And those who were against it were often persecuted and repressed. Even higher education was often refused if you were not in the party.
America was always a beacon of free speech for us and one of the reasons we diched comunism in 1989.
Now look at it. I see it going the same path we tried so hard to detach from…

Liberals need the false narrative that Trump is Hitler, because it allows the media and the Democrats to justify violence against Conservatives.

And as much as liberals call people Nazis, they’re the only side getting their protests funded by a guy who actually aided the Nazis in World War II.

Not true. FAKE NEWS. Look at her picture. She would have to be at least 90 years old. Women did not have any experience in Nazi Germany.

    • One Live Beast

She would have to be around 75 to have lived during the era. Maybe a little older.

    • BossyBrat

Who said the photo is recent? It looks like it was taken a couple of decades ago.

    • Unlucky#

I’m sensing a little bit of sexism in your comment, but that’s probably just my imagination (kek). The picture looks like it could have been taken in the 70s or 80s. You liberals and your denials.

    • David

Did women all live in bunkers for 6 years ?

women were some of the most affected by the nazi regime.

      • William Robertson

First Nazis’ were around longer than six years. The women would have to be around 95+ to have any memory of the build up of the Nazi regime. Luicd at 95, clear memory of Nazi build up , very doubtfull.

    • ICouldHaveLied

You’re an idiot who can’t do basic math. A 10 year old could easily remember, in vivid detail, what they saw at that age. Especially anything traumatic or crazy enough to remember, like living in Nazi Germany for example. If she was born in 1930 she would’ve remembered the outset of the war as Germany invaded Poland in 1939 and she would be 87 years old now. Hell, I was 15 days from turning 10 when 9/11 happened and I remember that morning in picture-frame detail. I remember exactly where I was sitting when I saw the first plane crash into the WTC on the news. I remember going to my 5th grade class confused about what was going on because my parents were in shock and horrified, but I didn’t grasp the gravity of it until now.

In other words: try again, douchebag.

  • One Live Beast

Here’s the problem with everything Milo posts…he’s preaching to the choir. Trying to get a liberal to smash their snowglobe and live in he real world is like trying to convince a goldfish to live in a sandbox-they flip and flail and lose their minds.

    • ICouldHaveLied

First off, sorry ahead of time for the long post. Hopefully you care enough to read all this because I clearly had a lot to say about it.

Anyways: That’s the same thing libs say about Trump supporters and it’s bullshit. There are reasonable people of all political backgrounds, you just only hear about the extremes because that’s the nature of extremes – they are notable in how far from the norm they are. I’m a 25 year old in California and I grew up in a very cookie-cutter liberal family. Now I’m right-leaning as an adult and minds like Milo and Ben Shapiro helped make my philosophy a cohesive one. So liberals can be reached, especially young and fresh minds that are being brainwashed on college campuses to drone the liberal zombie far-left talking points and tropes. If we can get to them before the antifa scum does, or if we can at least show them another way, then I know for a fact many of them will jump ship or they’ll stay out because they’re too conflicted. Either way, less leftists=great thing for the world.

Lots of white guys like me are moving to the right because the left no longer offers anything for white men. Those on the left, even those in positions of power within the DNC, actually claim that white men are a problem demographic. Yes, I am a problem to these people and the fools in charge of the Dem party are scratching their heads wondering why so many former Dem voters are jumping ship, wondering why the “white working class” has abandoned them as if they didn’t abandon the former first. If they cut the overt anti-white male bias and all other aspects of the divisive identity politics, they would win majorities in House/Senate and win presidencies, probably every time. Just like if Conservatives could get over immigration and embrace Mexicans, who come from conservative, traditional backgrounds, they would win every single election along with majorities every time.

This is something the Republican Party is really going to have to figure out in the coming decades if they want to stay relevant as the white population that has traditionally supported it declines. We need AMERICAN NATIONALISM, not White nationalism. We need to embrace the legal Mexicans and Hispanics who think like we do but hate that the Republican Party is, they feel, anti-Hispanic, and I think it is. Basically, I view the Mexicans/Hispanic immigrants today as the Italians were in the early 1900s. They will assimilate and their children and children’s children will be just as American as you or me. Mexican immigration is already pretty much dead anyways. The immigrants are all coming from El Salvador and Guatemala and other horrible Central American countries and crossing through Mexico. I don’t know why Republicans are so afraid of amnesty when if Republicans were to push that forward they would get the love and support of the very-traditional, conservative, Catholic Hispanic community and hundreds of thousands of potential voters who never did before.

I voted Obama in 08 and in 12, I won’t deny that. I voted Trump this election. I am a statistic, I’m an Obama voter that flipped to Trump and that was due to me seeing things realistically, getting “redpilled” if you will.

  • Smug_Trump

Uh-Oh. Someone posted truth on teh internets. Prepare for liberal meltdown in 3….2….1…….

Just throwing out there: linking to sources doesn’t work if all your sources are you.

    • ICouldHaveLied

But religious people cite their religion’s holy book(s) thinking that’s evidence of anything other than a group of weirdos getting together and writing a science fiction book. I don’t think this using yourself as a source is any worse than that.

Nothing I love more than a “God exists because the Bible” claim. God exists because this book, written by ancient Hebrew goatherders and outcasts of proper Hebrew society, says so. Completely foolproof and very efficient. I think a group of scientists should get together and write a holy book of science stating all known, scientific facts that humans have discovered, and all scientists should just cite that thing whenever someone asks for proof of something.
