Students across the country are sharing emails they’ve received from distraught professors allowing them to stay home on Wednesday to cope with their feelings after Donald Trump is elected president.

According to this student, two of her classes were cancelled because of the election:

In this email sent to students, the professor lamented that there would be no “celebratory pizza during class today”:

This professor cancelled class and urged students to “take care of one another today”:

In another email sent to students, the professor mentions “not feeling right” and that “it’s going to be a rough night…so I feel it best to cancel our class for tomorrow”:

At 1:12 a.m., students received this email with the subject “a message of hope, CLASS CANCELLED WEDNESDAY”, where the professor says, “To give us all a brief mental health break, I’ve decided to defer our ‘history of witchery’ lesson till Monday, when we all stand a better chance of retaining the information”:

Perhaps more disturbing than someone cancelling class over an election is the sheer volume of professors who sent out emails Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.

We found literally hundreds of tweets referencing Trump and the cancelling of Wednesday’s classes. This is like an informal study providing insight into the fragile psychology of campus SJWs across the nation.

But it wasn’t only professors cancelling class – students themselves began demanding the postponing of exams, or even no class for the rest of the week, in order to deal with the Trump’s victory.

At Loyola University, a petition was created to cancel class, accumulating over 300 signatures.

One comment read:

Another similar petition from students at Bryn Mawr College demands a similar break from class, saying “We need a day to heal after we’ve been told the country doesn’t value our existence at all.”

One signee of the petition said, “A Trump election directly endangers the lives of all students at Bryn Mawr College that are people of color, lgbtqa+, non-Christian, and female.”

The total liberal meltdown across college campuses reflects the mass-crying on display at Hillary’s “victory rally” last night.

As we documented, countless videos and photos surfaced of democrats weeping after realizing Trump would win.

Just what they need, more babying.
Emotionally stunted teens and young adults behaving like 2 year olds, and those who are supposed to help them grow out of it coddling them; pathetic.

    • Nemo

Yep. It’s heartrending. One day something really bad will befall them, and they will see how they were completely let down.

  • Mikey Bratz

Its time for these crybabies to grow up.

    • Dr ExCathedra

Actually, that’s not gonna happen. So it’s time for them to be disenfranchised. The feminization of politics, with all the histrionics and manipulation, has poisoned education. Virtue-signalling pseudo-martyr twats, all of them.

      • JohnnyBadGuy

“So it’s time for them to be disenfranchised.”

        Exactly right.

        • Nemo

Well, yes. But I’m afraid reality will disabuse them of the notion that the election of a president they don’t like is a disaster soon enough. I pity them.

  • BeavertonSteve

Snowflakes, notice that in the real world nobody was given the day off from work to heal. Your schools and professors are setting you up for failure in life.

    • AshleyCornewell

      No kidding!!

    • Braden

      Unfortunately they already are failures.

  • Miloš

Biggest importance of Trump’s win for me is this, not the economy, foreign affairs etc, this. This decay of people in the West, especially men, must be combated, earlier the better.

    • Dr ExCathedra

Very true. Unless Men of the West grow back their balls, nothing else will do.

  • Kenny E Ross

You sjw liberals are a big part of the reason Trump got in. You can only
push people so far calling them racist, misogynist, xenophobes etc etc
just because they do not agree with you. Trump was the push back.. You
    need to wake up libs….

  • gregory alan elliott

My dog didn’t eat my homework. Reality isn’t aligning with my political indoctrination.

  • scanspeak

Finally a President with balls. Long live the republic.

  • scanspeak

Colleges living up to their reputation as expensive child care .

There’s been countless evidence of crying Hillary supporters
    now.

I like salt as much as the next guy, but jokes aside this is actually an
extremely important “tell” or behavior that I think we’re glazing
    over.

When people cry there’s a very specific criterion being
filled. You have to emotionally invest and you have to emotionally connect. The
fact that so many people are crying over this overwhelmingly proves that they
were in this for the wrong reasons. They sided with Hillary over pure emotion,
and that saddens me. I don’t think emotion has a place in politics, and if it
does, it should exist with careful, unwavering control.

You might want to say “well duh,” sure, fair
enough, but it is extremely interesting for me to see direct evidence of people
falling for the fallacy of “appeal to emotion” en masse. We’ll never
know how Trump supporters would have behaved in their loss, but I doubt it
    would be a similar picture.

I hope that girl does kill herself. Do society a favor.

  • Stüntkök

    Bring back conscription.

Some a-hole faculty or staffer had the gaul yesterday when asked by the barista at the coffee shop (on Minnesota State University Moorhead’s campus) as to how he was doing, he responded brazenly and full of complete hubris that he was “feeling excited and nervous for our first female president.” My initial thought was you have no clue where your barista stands on the political spectrum and given this election you’re going to dump that response on a total stranger. I’m guessing he didn’t show up to work today.

Also my Teaching English as Second Language (TESL) professor, who maybe liberal (not sure), has enough sense and enough professionalism to have avoided the entire election discussion in class. Hats off to her as from this Milo Post most of the academic “elite” prove why they are in academia. They don’t know how to live in the real world and need a safe space to protect themselves.

  • Scott Giblin

LIBERAL TEARS ARE SOO SWEET RIGHT NOW!!!! mmmm YES KEEP CRYING , SOOO SWEET!

  • DrJennySueNY

    Wah wawa wahhhhh

  • PeteNice

    Aaaaaaaaahahahahahaha

    Pussies. Pussies all.

  • David Black

    The Snowflakes are melting.

  • John Q

When you consider that this is probably the first time a lot of them didn’t get what they wanted, it is understandable. Blame the teachers and the parents who brought them this far and the professors who encourage and applaud their behavior.

  • GillesM

If it is true, this would be one of the reason Trump won the election. Taxe payers are fed up to see their money spend on institutions tolerating this kind of behavior.

  • Joe Nelson

You’ve got four years to learn to deal with it. Or, cyanide cures everything. Your choice. I recommend dealing with it.

  • Scoz

    The leaders of tomorrow!

  • vox212

There were even male students crying. God lord, these people are pathetic losers. I hope this is the SJW minority of the students body in the country. If this is happening with the majority of students then this country is in serious trouble.

  • biker02

Someone needs to Baker Act this nutcase.

  • monstrosity

What a bunch of babies. Its a Constitutional Republic; one side wins and one loses. Give over it. In 1980 I was 18 and thought Ronald Reagan winning was going to be the end of the World and WW3 was just around the corner. But he did revitalize the economy, he ended the Soviet Union without going to war and it didnt turn out so bad after all. People need to get a grip on reality.

  • SilverSet

Actual adults cancelled actual classes because they were “upset.” That’s so pathetic, that I almost feel sorry for them.

    • gwallan

If I were a student it would signal to me that the teacher is piss weak and easily manipulated.

  • Fist_of_Doom

    People are pussies.

  • Braden

I love it. If I was a student at one of those universities I would break into the professors home and spray a bunch of Pro-Trump stuff all over their walls.

  • Joey B

Wow….and Bernie was going to give these children “free tuition”? Frankly, tuition in the useless faculties should be tripled and the tuition in the REAL degrees like engineering, medicine and others of REAL value should be free, subsidized by the tuitions of those enrolled in the worthless ones.

  • cheatON!

Answer Coalition the anti war George Soros socialists organized these “protests” Hey anti war protestors, the pro Iraq war Clinton LOST. Shouldn’t you be celebrating?

  • Plantagenet1

Perfect example of what is completely wrong with academia in America today.

  • To be fair, if Hillary won, there would have been thousands of crying Trump supporters nationwide.

  • sarina singh

Is Trump qualified to be present, absolutely not. However, cancelling classes is immature. People need to wake up and deal with the realities of life and not sit home and cry like children. What about people living in countries where they are being bombed, there are far greater problems.

  • Sallai Tibor

GROW UP, ASSHOLES! THE SUN CAME UP TODAY AND GONE DOWN AS WELL. THE WORLD IS STILL TURNING… And if you can’t get over it: then go away liberal kiddos. You poisoned the people enough. You accept everyone exept someone with a different point of view. You censored literature and art, hell even common talk in the name of “political correctness”. Some even don’t know they are male or female… no. If you can’t adapt, then go away.

  • bill elder

The university could provide a better service to these neurotics if it gave the the day off to start their cult deprogramming.

  • marshall

In Richmal Crompton’s William books, a small girl called Violet Elizabeth Bott was used to threaten to ‘thcream & thcream & thcream until I’m thick.’ This always sounded physiologically unlikely. We should thank Brittany Schaubhut who has pushed science forward by showing it can happen.

  • Hunn

I am literally LAUGHING OUT LOUD and I am not even an American! It must be a GREAT feeling for all American TRUMP-voters to savour the effects of this glorius VICTORY OF COMMON SENSE over the Lefty/Liberal crazyness!!! All hail for God Emperor Donals Trump! The world has just changed for the BETTER!

  • masterc4u

children, quit whining it is time to grow the Fuck up.

  • Russell MaJimmies

And this is why 3rd worlders are taking over the west. They can handle a little hardship while our young have to retreat to a safe space and cry.

  • Kathryn

I saw a handful of my elementary, middle and high school teachers post on Facebook that they too, had to comfort kids “fear” that came on Wednesday. Growing up in California, most of my teachers all were very open about being liberal. Growing up with conservative values, it always made me so uncomfortable when political STANCE became a class discussion. I was one of the few kids who was not a liberal, it can be very alienating.

It is time for teachers to separate their political stance from the classroom, where they have a responsibility to TEACH ALL of their students!

  • CuckLivesMatter

I was a sophomore in college when the 2000 election when the Florida recount was going on. We did not have a day off from class when that happened. The next year they cancelled classes on 9/11 and the day after. My school was 40 minutes away from ground zero and some of my classmates had relatives who perished. Never had I heard about classes being cancelled due to a fair election. Do people go to college to become dumber?

  • Carol Spillman

I know honey, I know….I felt the same way when Obama, a man with no experience whatsoever other than being a glorified social worker, won the election not just one but twice! But you know, I just had to pull up my big girl panties, wipe my snotty nose and get my butt to work because…….you know…..in healthcare people tend to depend on us nurses. And that’s what ADULTS do…..we don’t sit and cry and whine like toddlers who had their favorite toy taken by another kid…….we ACCEPT it because that’s how our system works! No one is ever going to 100% vote for one person, that is not a democracy. Now if you’d rather live in a country where they have dictators I’m sure there are several you can choose from. Pack up your things and buy your ticket, we won’t miss you.
